Abstract

In the present work there are given results of research of the content of technogenic radionuclide Cs-137 in various types of the soil in the territory of some districts of Tbilisi City – the capital of Georgia. 56 soil samples have been selected and analyzed in the studied territory. Activity concentration of radionuclide Cs-137 in the investigated samples varied from 0.19 to 118 Bq/kg (on the average - 18.7 Bq/kg). Some features of distribution of cesium-137, in particular, from the type of soil and an arrangement of sampling loca-tion points are noted.
