Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Instructions for authors

Authors who wish to publish in The Journal of Nature Studies - Annals of Agrarian Science (AASCI) must submit their manuscripts through the journal’s homepage: http://journals.org.ge/index.php.

AASCI reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not follow the required format provided below:

Article formatting (sections and their order)

  • Field of science should be placed in the top right-hand corner of the Word document page.
  • Main title
  • Authors' first names (not abbreviated) and last names, separated by commas
  • Affiliation (institution, department, address); multiple affiliations must each be listed in a separate paragraph
  • Abstract no more than 500 characters
  • Keywords: up to 5
  • The corresponding author must be marked with an asterisk (*) and their email address should be included
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgement
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Conflicts of interest should be stated as: “The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.”
  • References

The list of cited literature must be in the order of citation within the text. Use APA citation style, as exemplified here:

  •  Photos and Graphs have to be presented in the format of Figures (see above).

All figures, tables, photos, and graphs must be included in the article and also submitted as separate pages, each following the reference list in the manuscript file.

  • All pages must be paginated.
  • The text should be in Sylfaen, size 11 for the main text and size 14 for titles.
  • The article must not exceed 20 pages, including figures, graphs, tables, etc.
